The Ridley Development Program is designed to help prepare players who are interested in playing travel soccer. In addition to regular intramural practices, development players will train once a week throughout the fall season, with scrimmages against other local development programs and a local tournament to end the fall season. The development program picks up again in January with practices to help prepare players for spring travel tryouts. The goal of the development program is to help players expand on the basic techniques such as passing, receiving, and dribbling. By creating a fun and focused environment, the development program helps to build your child’s love of soccer while preparing him or her to take their game to the next level with travel soccer. The development program is open to players who are U8, preparing them for the first year of travel soccer.
